Data Gathering & Display

Opposite is my own sketches i made of evaluating the energy consumption within my living space this was independent work that i did which i further developed as you can see below!..

Within the workshop we had to get into groups and share our own findings of energy consumption, by doing that we had to plan out how we would create data charts that the users could interact with and would be quite easy to understand, these are some sketches of our groups plans to create a unique data chart.

As a group using the sketches we made helped us expand our development by creating shapes as a key of form of energy consumption and using threads to interact and display our on data in which we gathered.

This was the final outcome of our data gathering display, we combined the sketches as you can see from the top and interaction with a mock up of a data display to come up with this process for our audience to interact with by using pins and strings.

These are images of different group interacting with my groups data gathering display that we created, I feel in general it was successful as it was easy to understand by connecting strings to different bits i.e time connecting with the kitchen.
